COLUMBUS, OH (Dec. 2, 2016) — Today Public Utilities Commission of Ohio Chairman Asim Z. Haque issued the following statement in response to the resignation of Commissioner Howard Petricoff:
“I am disappointed with the Ohio Senate’s position toward Commissioner Petricoff. He is eminently qualified and has four decades of experience as a utility expert. I respect his decision to resign but I am saddened by it. His departure is a loss for the people of Ohio and the Commission, and I hope this incident doesn’t cause other talented people to think twice before pursuing public service.”
