Additional Software For Viewing This Site
HTML (HyperText Markup Language): The Web versions of documents, complete with hyperlinks to referenced information, as available. These files can be read online with a web browser.
PDF (Portable Document Format): A file format that preserves the look and layout of a printed document. These files are accessible through a free viewer published by Adobe.
DOC (MS Word), PPT (MS PowerPoint), XLS (Excel Spreadsheet): Documents formatted in Microsoft Office software. A plug-in for viewing these files is available from Microsoft's Download Center.
SID (MrSid): These files are in the highly compressed MrSid format and typically contain topographic map data. Viewers are available from LizardTech. The files can also be viewed and also overlaid by other data using ArcExplorer 2 from ESRI.
SWF (Flash): Generally highly graphical content such as slide shows or movies. Download the latest viewer from Adobe.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication): RSS files contain a brief synopsis of selected information from the web site. RSS files do not contain any information not already available on the PUCO web site. These files can be used by any software supporting the RSS version 2 standard.
PTX: E-Transcript of hearings. A free viewer is available from RealLegal.
