Statement from PUCO Chairman on selection of Ohio Consumers’ Counsel

COLUMBUS, OHIO (March 20, 2012) – Public Utilities Commission of Ohio Chairman Todd A. Snitchler issued the following statement in response to the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel (OCC) Governing Board’s selection of Bruce J. Weston as the state’s next Consumers’ Counsel.

“I’m pleased to learn that Bruce Weston has been selected to serve as Ohio Consumers’ Counsel. We have enjoyed working with Bruce in his interim role at the OCC and welcome the opportunity to continue working with him on a permanent basis.

“The OCC and residential consumers will be well served by Bruce’s experience, leadership, and commitment.”
