COLUMBUS, OHIO (Jan. 22, 2013) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) will host a Q&A discussion on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 with executives of PJM Interconnection, LLC (PJM) and the Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO) to provide the Commission with a better understanding of interconnection issues faced by the two regional transmission operators.
Andy Ott, Senior Vice President of Markets at PJM, and Richard Doying, Executive Vice President for Operations and Corporate Services at MISO, will provide presentations and answer questions from the commissioners on “seams coordination and capacity portability” between the two regional entities.
PJM and MISO’s discussion will commence immediately after the Commission’s weekly meeting, which begins at 1:30 p.m. on Jan 23, 2013. A live webcast will be available on the PUCO website at www.PUCO.ohio.gov.
