PUCO sets local hearings on FirstEnergy electric security plan
COLUMBUS, OHIO (May 9, 2012) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) today scheduled local public hearings to provide consumers an opportunity to express their views on FirstEnergy’s electric security plan.
The local public hearings are scheduled as follows:
- Akron
June 4, 2012 at 6 p.m.

FirstEnergy filed an ESP application and accompanying stipulation with the PUCO on April 13, 2012. FirstEnergy and the other signatory parties to the stipulation propose a plan for the supply and pricing of electric generation service through May 31, 2016.
