COLUMBUS, OHIO (June 2, 2014) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) scheduled four local public hearings to provide the public an opportunity to express their views regarding Aqua Ohio’s application to increase its rates for water service. The hearings are scheduled as follows:
An evidentiary hearing will begin July 14, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the PUCO offices in Columbus.
On Dec. 2, 2013, Aqua Ohio, Inc. filed an application to increase its rates for water service in its Lake Erie and Masury service divisions, as well as the service divisions formerly served by Ohio American Water Company.
PUCO staff filed a summary of its investigation related to the company’s application on May 20, 2014. Those who testify at the local public hearings will have their comments added to the case record.
Customers may also submit comments online at www.PUCO.ohio.gov or by mail addressed to 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215. Correspondence should include the case number 13-2124-WW-AIR.
