PUCO schedules local public hearings for AEP Ohio’s electric security plan case

COLUMBUS, OHIO (March 31, 2014) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) today scheduled five local public hearings to provide the public an opportunity to express their views regarding AEP Ohio’s electric security plan application. The hearings are scheduled as follows:

The evidentiary hearing for the electric security plan case will begin June 3, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the PUCO offices in Columbus.

On December 20, 2013, AEP Ohio filed an application for an electric security plan to be in effect from June 2015 through May 2018.

The PUCO staff will file its testimony regarding the case on May 20, 2014. Those who testify at the local public hearing will have their comments added to the case record.
