PUCO Nominating Council to meet January 30
COLUMBUS, OHIO (Jan. 24, 2014) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) Nominating Council will meet on Jan. 30, 2014 to interview applicants for the position of commissioner of the PUCO to fill a five-year term commencing on April 11, 2014. The meeting will begin at 8:45 a.m. in Hearing Room 11-B at the PUCO offices, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus.
The agenda for the Nominating Council meeting is as follows:

Upon the conclusion of the opening public session, the Nominating Council will convene an executive session pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code to interview the following candidates.

The Nominating Council will reconvene its public session at 12:35 p.m. and select four candidates to submit to Gov. John Kasich for his consideration to fill the commissioner term commencing on April 11, 2014. The Ohio Senate must confirm the governor’s appointment.
