COLUMBUS, OHIO (Oct. 5, 2012) – Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) Chairman Todd A. Snitchler will be joining Governor John R. Kasich during a luncheon keynote address at the state of Ohio/America’s Natural Gas Alliance’s Natural Gas Vehicle Summit. The summit is scheduled for October, 9, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at The Ohio State University Student Union, East Ballroom at 1739 N. High Street in Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to Governor Kasich’s and Chairman Snitchler’s keynote address, the summit will include additional remarks from the office of the governor a natural gas vehicle (NGV) overview and panel discussions on vehicle options and technology, infrastructure, regulations, and state natural gas vehicle policy.
The event brings together industry experts, consumers, State officials, and other interested parties to discuss the benefits of NGVs in an effort to help to expand the NGV industry in the state. The discussion will include identifying a clear path forward in order to increase the usage of NGVs in Ohio; and the role state government needs to play in order to help facilitate growth and development within the industry.
