PUCO approves three rail crossing projects in Butler County
COLUMBUS, OHIO (Sept. 18, 2013) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) today approved an agreement with the Ohio Rail Development Commission, Norfolk Southern Railway and the city of Middletown in Butler County for three rail crossing projects. The projects include:
- Permanent closure to pedestrian and vehicular traffic at the Grand Avenue (524-680W) grade crossing.
- New surfaces installed at the Central Avenue (524-677N) and Verity Parkway (525-342C) grade crossings.
The railroad and city will be responsible for completing the projects by September 18, 2014.
