REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. U08-GCR-1

 

MANAGEMENT/PERFORMANCE AUDIT of

COLUMBIA GAS of OHIO, INC. and the

VECTREN ENERGY DELIVERY COMPANY, INC.

By Entry dated  February 27, 2008,  the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) issues a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit bids from consultants to perform  management/performance audits of the gas purchasing practices and policies of Columbia Gas of Ohio, Inc. and Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio (Company or Companies), in Case Nos. 08-220-GA-GCR and 08-221-GA-GCR.  Rule 4901:1-14-07(D) specifies that the Commission has the sole responsibility for selecting each Company's management/performance auditor.  Each Company's management/performance auditor will be required to conduct such an audit and will be responsible for submitting a report which identifies and evaluates the management policies and procedures of the Company's existing procurement strategy and accessing its progress in achieving an unregulated commodity service.  The winning proposal will be selected on a combined basis of lowest cost and highest quality proposal.
