Ohio Energy Grant Workshops
USDA Rural Development and the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) have announced the scheduling of three workshops on funding opportunities for renewable energy projects and energy efficiency improvements. Renewable energy systems could include projects involving biomass, biodiesel, ethanol, solar, wind, or anaerobic digesters. Energy efficiency improvements could include projects that involve lighting, heating, electrical motors, refrigeration and freezer units, insulation or other improvements that reduce energy consumption. Anyone interested in completing an energy related project should plan to attend to learn more about grant and loan funding opportunities along with other financial incentives.
This program is designed to discuss and provide information for non-residential projects only.
The workshops will be held from 9:00 am to Noon with registration beginning at 8:30 in the following locations:
Tuesday, March 6
Scioto County Welcome Center, 342 Second Street , Portsmouth (directions)
Thursday March 8
Ohio Department of Agriculture, 8995 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg (directions)
Wednesday, March 14
USDA Service Center, 7868 County Road 140, Findlay, (directions)
