Presentation:

Gas Pipeline Safety Panel Discussion:

The gas pipeline safety discussion consisted of presentations by gas transmission companies operating in Ohio regarding ongoing and future efforts to ensure the continued safe and reliable transmission of natural gas throughout the state. Topics discussed included: the state of gas transmission companies’ transmission systems in Ohio, plans to deal with aging infrastructure, integrity management status updates, impacts of the shale gas development on the transmission system, and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s MAOP confirmation status update.


There being no further business, the Commission Meeting adjourned at approximately 3:40 p.m.
