PUCO Nominating Council to meet January 26

COLUMBUS, OHIO (Jan. 19, 2017) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) Nominating Council will meet Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 to interview applicants for two commissioner positions. The meeting will take place in Hearing Room 11-B at the PUCO offices, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus.

The agenda for the Nominating Council meeting is as follows:

Upon the conclusion of the opening public session, the Nominating Council will go into executive session pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code to interview candidates.

The Nominating Council will reconvene its public session at 12:10 p.m. and select candidates to submit to Gov. John Kasich for his consideration to fill two commissioner terms.  The first is for the unexpired term ending on April 10, 2020. The second is for the term that commences on April 11, 2017 and ends on April 10, 2022.
