PUCO adds three public hearings on proposed Verizon-Frontier transfer

COLUMBUS, OHIO (Sept. 17, 2009) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has scheduled three additional local public hearings to provide telephone customers of Verizon North an opportunity to express their views regarding the company’s application to transfer ownership to Frontier Communications Corporation.

The hearings are scheduled for:

  • Oct. 6, 2009 at 6 p.m.
    Miami County Safety Building
    201 W. Main Street
    Troy

  • Oct. 7, 2009 at 6 p.m.
    Athens Community Center
    701 E. State Street
    Athens

  • Oct. 8, 2009 at 6 p.m.
    Ernsthausen Community Center
    100 Republic Street
    Norwalk

The PUCO held local public hearings on the same issue earlier this month in New Philadelphia, Marion and Portsmouth.
