REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. S09-CC-1

Credit and Collection Audit of
Columbia Gas of Ohio, Inc., Dominion East Ohio, Inc.,
Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. and
the Vectren Energy Delivery Company, Inc.

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (Commission), by Entry dated August 19, 2009, has ordered a review of the credit and collection policies and practices of Columbia Gas of Ohio, Inc., The East Ohio Gas Company d/b/a Dominion East Ohio, Duke Energy of Ohio, and Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio (Companies) and how their resulting performance impacts the Companies’ uncollectible expense.  Requests for proposals were submitted to the Commission by the established deadline of Friday, September 18, 2009.

The Commission would like to thank all those who sent in a proposal in response to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio’s Request for Proposal, S09-CC-1.  By Commission Entry, on September 30, 2009, the Commission selected NorthStar Consulting Group.  For further information, please see the Entry in Case No. 08-1229-GE-COI.
